 The FCH Chemotherapy department is located on the second floor of our new facility. It consists of 2 rooms with recliners, and allows privacy and comfort for our many chemotherapy patients who utilize this area. The FCH nursing staff have received extensive training in the use of chemotherapy agents, and are ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) credentialed. The staff are an excellent and compassionate resource for our cancer patients.
In addition to chemotherapy, this area may be used also as the outpatient treatment room. Treatments include blood transfusions, intravenous infusions and antibiotics, dressing changes, and injections. |  |
