FCH Community Health Fair & 5K Race
Fleming County Hospital held its annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Fleming County Hospital. Numerous vendors, physicians, .community agencies and hospital staff were on hand to provide services as well as provide community health information to be a healthier you. Despite the stormy weather, a large number of participants showed up to have blood work, EKG's, ABI screening, allergy testing, glucose screenings and multiple other services available. The 5K Race and Walk showed a big turnout, despite the bad weather. Runners and walkers braved the rain to show support of this worthy cause. Proceeds of the race/walk were in honor of Lucas Cannon.
Fleming County Hospital thanks all of the vendors, physicians, community agencies and staff who participated in provide these services. If you were unable to participate this year, take advantage of these free/discounted services at next years health fair. After all, there is only one you so take care of yourself! |
