Interim CEO for Fleming County Hospital Announced
Flemingsburg, KY (March 28, 2011) - Effectively immediately, healthcare veteran Joyce Hein will serve as interim CEO for Fleming County Hospital. For more than twenty years, Hein held executive leadership positions at community hospitals before narrowing her expertise to assist hospitals in transition. For the past five years, she has worked exclusively in capacity of interim Chief Executive Officer, helping manage a hospital’s financial and operation performance while assisting the hospital’s board in the selection of a permanent CEO. Her proficiency in this pivotal role has led to assignments across the country, including interim positions in Kansas, Hawaii and Nebraska.
“Joyce has an impressive background and brings an important level of expertise to the hospital,” said Michael Boyd, M.D., who serves on the Fleming County Hospital Board of Trustees. “We welcome her to Flemingsburg and look forward to working with her in the months ahead.”
Hein and the board hope to bring fresh energy and renewed vision to Fleming County Hospital.
