Public Information Statement:

When an individual has any concerns about patient care and safety in the hospital, that the hospital has not addressed, he or she is encouraged to contact the hospital's administrative management at (606) 849-5001.

If the concerns cannot be resolved through the hospital, an individual is encouraged by the hospital to contact Joint Commission by either calling 1-800-994-6610 or e-mailing complaint@jcaho.org.


The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations is an independent, not-for-profit, national body that oversees the safety and quality of health care and other services provided in accredited organizations. Information about accredited organizations may be provided directly to the Joint Commission at 1-800-994-6610. Information regarding accreditation and the accreditation performance of individual organizations can be obtained through the Joint Commission’s Web site.

For Sale

Fleming County Hospitals has declared surplus and has for sale a 31’ X 56’ modular office unit. This unit contains large entry / waiting room, five small offices, a business office area, two bath rooms one with shower and storage area connected. This unit is located on the campus of Fleming County Hospital. It has been used for office space by physicians and general office space. This unit is to be moved off the campus on or before June 15, 2008.

To bid on this item a person should print their name, address, telephone number, a second telephone number and the amount of their bid on a piece of paper. The bid should be delivered in a sealed envelope to Pete Midden, Director of Facilities Fleming County Hospital by 2 PM. May 12, 2008. On the outside of the envelope print “bid for building”.
At 2:05 PM the bids will be opened and read aloud. The hospital will award the bid to the best and most aggressive bidder. Fleming County Hospital reserves the right to reject any and or all bids.
