Public Information Statement

If an individual has any concerns about patient care and safety in the hospital or durable medical equipment services which the hospital has not addressed, he or she is encouraged to contact the hospital's administrative management at (606) 849-5001. 
 
If the concerns cannot be resolved through the hospital, an individual is encouraged by the hospital to contact Joint Commission via a toll-free hotline. The toll-free number is 800/994-6610 and is available 24/7 a week; however staff members are available to answer calls only on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. central time or by e-mailing the complaint@ jointcommission.org. 
 
This toll-free line provides patients, their families, caregivers, and others with an opportunity to share concerns regarding quality of care issues at accreditated organizations. The Joint Commission addresses all complaint that pertain to patient safety or quality of care issues within the scope of Joint Commission standards.
