More than 100 million Americans do not regularly get a good night’s sleep. The hours that should bring peaceful renewal for the body, mind and spirit are filled instead with tossing and turning or full fledged insomnia.
Some 40 million people suffer from sleep disorders.
Once considered unfortunate inconveniences, these sleep disturbances are now recognized by the health community as medical problems that can severely affect one’s physical, mental and emotional wellbeing as well as ones job and school performance.
